It may be the boy scout in me, but we know responsibility begins with each of us to help keep the environment healthy. We take our part seriously and have been practicing our own Green Initiative for over 10 years. Here are some of the things we do:
- Work in a virtual system, reducing use of computer equipment
- Reduce use of paper through electronic storage and retrieval
- Use recycled paper when necessary to print
- Recycle cardboard and shred paper
- Recycle old computer components
- Recycle printer ink cartridges
- Use LED lightbulbs and LED overhead lights
- Use heavier, insulating ceiling tiles to conserve energy costs
- Adjust heating & cooling for off hours, reducing energy costs
- Reduce use of plastics, eliminate styrofoam
